About Me
Sofia Sutter is a second year student at the University of Central Florida, set to graduate in Spring of 2026. She is majoring in journalism on the print/digital track, with a minor in digital media.
Having been heavily involved in print journalism for the past five years, she is looking to expand her knowledge in the broadcast field, with a growing interest in multimedia and producing.
Sutter has interned with Oviedo Community News, andn published with NSM Today, Knightly Latino, and The Edge. She is also an active member of UCF’s National Association for Hispanic Journalists and Society of Professional Journalists chapters.
She has received recognition from the Miami Herald, Florida Scholastic Press Association, and National Scholastic Press Association for her work and contributions to the field.
When not in journalist mode, Sutter enjoys baking, reading, and being a mom to her fake plants - Groot, George, and Gregory.
