Sofia Sutter is a senior at the University of Central Florida, set to graduate in May 2026. She is majoring in journalism on the print/digital track, with a minor in sociology.

Sutter is an active member of the New York Times Corps, the digital manager of Centric Magazine and president of UCF’s National Association of Hispanic Journalists chapter. She is also a reporter at Oviedo Community News.

She hopes to work in the broadcast field, with a growing interest in producing and multimedia. Sutter aims to apply an interdisciplinary approach to any situation thanks to her background in music, leadership, sociology, writing and volunteer/outreach efforts.

When not in journalist mode, Sutter enjoys making and listening to music, baking, reading and being a mom to her fake plants - Groot, George and Gregory.
