Sofia Sutter

Sofia Sutter is a third year student at the University of Central Florida, set to graduate in Spring of 2026. She is majoring in journalism on the print/digital track, with a minor in sociology. Sutter currently serves as the STEM/Space beat reporter for The Charge.

She is looking to expand her knowledge in the broadcast field, with a growing interest in multimedia and producing. Sutter aims to apply an interdisciplinary approach to any situation thanks to her background in music, leadership, sociology, writing, and volunteer/outreach efforts.

She is also an active member of the New York Times Corps and UCF’s National Association for Hispanic Journalists chapter. 

When not in journalist mode, Sutter enjoys making and listening to music, baking, reading, and being a mom to her fake plants - Groot, George, and Gregory.
