Sofia Sutter

Sofia Sutter is a third year student at the University of Central Florida, set to graduate in Spring of 2026. She is majoring in journalism on the print/digital track, with a minor in sociology. 

Having been heavily involved in print journalism for the past six years, she is looking to expand her knowledge in the broadcast field, with a growing interest in multimedia and producing.

Sutter has been published with NBC News, Oviedo Community News, NSM Today, and The Edge. She is also an active member of UCF’s National Association for Hispanic Journalists  chapter. 

She has received recognition from the Miami Herald, Florida Scholastic Press Association, and National Scholastic Press Association for her work and contributions to the field.

When not in journalist mode, Sutter enjoys baking, reading, and being a mom to her fake plants - Groot, George, and Gregory.
